Teacher's Quilt

This is a medium-sized quilt tapestry, measuring 70 x 70 cm or 27.5 x 27.5 inches. I designed this quilt for my son's teacher as a thank you gift.

With free motion quilting, I quilted a big wreath using a leafy feather variation, which is my favorite. I added a "Teacher" monogram to make it more personalized. To highlight the monogram, I quilted small meandering stitches around it.

For the background, I chose "Pebble" design with a little twist of echo lines on random pebbles. This is to break the monotonous shapes, adding interest to the area.
